Hugo Jalabert an uprising designer who designs from the emotional standpoint. Hugo’s 2015 graduating collection was based on the book by Sylvia Plath called “The Bell Jar” it is the study of a psychological affliction called OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
Hugo has studied with some of the best such as Alexis Mabille where he was a pattern making assistant, then with Givenchy Couture as a embroidery design assistant then moving to London where he was directed into the menswear as a designer with Stefan Orschel. Hugo is planning on launching his own label in the coming year in a fashion field that is untapped and open to so many possibilities which is emotional design. He is collaborating with other designers and specific OCD associations in order to get the inspiration and vision of his on line to develop in this field. We think he is off to an outstanding start.
